Buddhist temple/shrine question?

Im catholic. But i have a strong belief in feng shui. From the books i've read on feng shui, it mentions going to buddhist temples for blessings on certain items, or having a buddha shrine. would it be going against my religion to go to buddhist temples for blessings, or to have a buddha shrine? im not sure what to do.
