Feng shui can't help my bedroom because of diagonal wall?

okay so i went to a vedic astrologer today and she gave me some feng shui tips as well. but she had a sh*t fit when i described that my room is almost a rectangle, but has a slight diagonal where the door to enter is. she said that because of this one defect, feng shui can't even help me lol.. this saddens me. i cannot change my bedroom, my only option is to move (which i plan to do soon anyway.) but can anyone confirm this?
