Do modern Chinese people incorporate feng shui cures for yearly flying star chart changes?

I am interested in Feng Shui and I found that this year the grand duke is in east and need to avoid facing etc.... if I want to follow the advise, I need to move around my furniture a lot. I was just wondering if people are still following the cures. Thank you.
