Does your toddler ever go through stages where he/she refuses to sleep.. at all?

Kids are wild. My 3 year old step brother is a trip. He was awake like 2 days straight. He refused to sleep. All he wanted to do was play and play and play. He woke me up and told me it was boring! Wtf he's a 3 year old and it was midnight! But you gotta do what you gotta do. Nyquil my friend lol. Jk. Jk. Just keep playing until he knocks out. Idk what else to suggest.
